Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do I need a visa to enter Poland?

Citizens of a large number of countries do not need a visa to enter Poland. Detailed list of such countries can be found here.

Letters supporting application for a Polish visa will be issued only for registered participants. If you need a letter to support your Polish visa application, please contact us here.

2. Do the organizers cover the cost of accomodation?

EHPRG organizing comitee does not provide nor cover the cost of hotel accommodation to the conference participants. Therefore, you are welcome to arrange the accommodation yourself.

However, you can choose a budget accommodation at our centrally located student dormitory DS Jowita. The cost of this option can be added to your conference fee.

3. What size are poster boards?

Poster boards are made from cork and their size is 980 mm x 1220 mm.
Please prepare your posters vertically.

4. Is it possible to prepare more than one abstract by person?

Each participant can submit more than one abstract, however if the number of abstracts will be significant, the limit will be set individually with the participant.

5. How to get from hotels/dormitory to the conference site?

The conference takes place at the Faculty of Chemistry at Adam Mickiewicz Univeristy in Poznan which is located on the university campus about 10 km from the center of Poznan.

There is no convenient hotel near the Campus, therefore all suggested hotels are located in the center of Poznan.

We do not plan to organize any special transportation, however each participant will receive a 7-day pass for public transport.

All hotels offered on the site are very well communicated with the campus thanks to the direct connection of the PST (Poznan Fast Tram). PST is a collision-free transport that takes participants directly from the hotel to the conference venue in 15 minutes.

PST runs at peak times every 5 minutes. You can check the timetables on the MPK Poznan website.

6. Can I pay by credit card?

We have recived a large number of emails in which conference participants write about the need for credit card payment options. To meet this expectation, we decided to add this option in the coming week (until June 21th). If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact our support.
